Monday, April 28

The New Hanover County Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 1 p.m. at the Board of Education Center, 1809 S. 13th St. The purpose of the meeting is to hold a Closed Session to hold Future Teacher Scholarship interviews pursuant to NCGS 143-318.11 (a) (1) and (a) (2) to prevent the disclosure of student records rendered confidential under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, 20 U.S.C. 1232g, and to prevent the premature disclosure of a scholarship award.
