CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A person is in the hospital Saturday after a shooting was reported in Charlotte’s University Park area.
Medic said it responded around 4:45 p.m. to Lasalle Street near Beatties Ford Road. The agency confirmed one patient was taken to a hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries.
The shooting along Lasalle Street happened just four miles west of another shooting that happened earlier Saturday that sent two people to the hospital. That incident unfolded just before noon along Tiffany Rose Place near West Craighead Road.
