Gorgeous, quiet weekend ahead in Piedmont Triad

(WGHP) — After a beautiful week, our weather will be cool and comfortable this evening with temperatures in the low 70s by 8 p.m. Skies remain mostly clear overnight and will fall into the upper 50s to kick off Saturday morning.

A gorgeous and quiet weekend is ahead for the Triad with temperatures in the mid-80s in the afternoon. Each day will get a little warmer, but the humidity remains comfortable. We’ll have a high of 84 on Saturday with a high of 86 on Sunday. Sunshine dominates all weekend long with an east-northeast wind.

The heat and humidity return into next week with morning temperatures on Monday back in the mid-60s and highs reaching the upper 80s. Mostly sunny skies stick around, but southeast winds return which will help to increase the heat and humidity throughout the week.

We’ll see mostly sunny skies Tuesday with morning temperatures in the upper 60s and highs in the low 90s.

A stray shower can’t be completely ruled out on Wednesday. For now, the chance remains below 20%. Morning temperatures return to the low 70s with afternoon temperatures in the low 90s. Mostly sunny skies remain, but we’ll slowly see an increase in clouds into the evening and overnight hours.

We’ll see partly cloudy skies Thursday with morning temperatures in the low 70s and highs in the low 90s. The chance for rain is 20%.

We’ll see partly cloudy skies again Friday with a 20% chance for rain. Temperatures remain in the low 70s in the morning with highs in the low 90s.
