UNION COUNTY, N.C. — WCNC Charlotte has chosen to use this mugshot because of the nature of the charges.
A private tennis coach is facing charges after deputies say a student accused him of inappropriate sexual conduct.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office said 47-year-old Timi Kano Solomon was arrested in late December 2024 during a sexual assault investigation. Deputies said a female victim came forward to them.
The office said detectives pursued every lad, and Solomon faces several charges, including statutory sexual offense with a child and indecent liberties with a child. He was granted a secured $100,000 bond and was released from jail after posting it.
