PENDER COUNTY – The groundbreaking for Pender County’s new law enforcement center will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024, at 2 p.m. The public is invited to join county officials and the Pender County Sheriff’s Office as they break ground on the facility, located at 1417 Old Savannah Road in Burgaw.
The law enforcement center, a 100,000-square-foot facility, will serve as a state-of-the-art hub for law enforcement operations in Pender County. According to the PCSO, the project represents a significant investment in public safety, providing modern infrastructure to support the growing needs of the sheriff’s office.
“We’re proud to break ground on a facility that will greatly enhance our ability to protect and serve the citizens of Pender County,” Sheriff Alan Cutler said in a statement. “This new center represents a significant step forward in meeting the demands of our growing community and preparing for the future of law enforcement in our county.”
