New Hanover High School on secure status

WILMINGTON — A dozen law enforcement officers were called to New Hanover High School Thursday morning as the school went on secure lockdown.

According to Lt. Jerry Brewer, of the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office, a “big fight” broke out.

Port City Daily reached out to the schools district as well, but no more information was available by press.
