Man suspected of taking photos up woman's skirt at Gastonia department store, police say

GASTONIA, N.C. — The Gastonia Police Department is looking for a man who allegedly secretly recorded a woman at a department store.

A case report from officers said it reportedly happened at the T.J. Maxx location along Cox Road on Oct. 23, 2024. The victim told police the man in question took photos up her skirt while inside the store.

On Thursday, Nov. 21, Gastonia Police shared photos of the suspect. Officers noted he had distinctive tattoos on both of his arms. The photos showed him wearing a grey T-shirt, a thin chain necklace, and a pair of glasses. He has black or dark-colored hair and facial hair as well.

Anyone who knows who he is or recognizes his tattoos is asked to call police at 704-866-6702.
