Frenzy Highlights

Weather in the Piedmont Triad forced a few teams to postpone their games. Since it is a holiday weekend, some teams will not play Monday.

Games postponed include:

  • Southeast Guilford at Dudley
  • Andrews at High Point Central
  • West Rowan at Davie County
  • Wheatmore at East Davidson
  • Ben L. Smith at Harding
  • Walkertown at Salisbury
  • North Moore at Southwest Randolph

Jack Britt took on East Forsyth, and Oak Grove took on West Forsyth.

Jack Britt was on the road taking on Bryce Baker and the East Forsyth Eagles on Friday night.

Baker wasted no time making an impact. He went five yards for an Eagles score, bringing the game to 7-0 for East Forsyth.

On the next possession, Baker scrambled and found some throwing room. He hit JP Gilchrist in the open field. The senior showed off his speed and was gone. He took it 52 yards to the house to extend the Eagles lead 13-6

East Forsyth won big over Jack Britt at 56-12.

Last season, Oak Grove lost just one game during the regular season, and it was to West Forsyth in late August.

On Friday night, the teams met for the fourth straight year. It’s turned into quite the rivalry because they are both so talented.

Carson Williams hit the gas after a quick pass and headed for the house. He was taken down around the five-yard line, but in the next play, Williams finished what he started with a rushing touchdown for a Grizzlies touchdown.

The Titans had an answer. Cj Blevins got the handoff and was gone for a house call. The Titans put six on the board after an unsuccessful two-point conversion.

The Titans then struck again. Riley Horton took it 22 yards for another Titans score, and the Titans went on to win this one at 36-10.

Coach Antwon Stevenson formerly led Glenn for nine seasons but moved over to Ragsdale this year. Tonight, Ragsdale took on Stevenson’s former school in Jamestown.

There were a lot of fireworks in the first quarter. After forcing a turnover, Glenn was in the red zone. Brady Robinson proved to be a quick hitter, and the Bobcats got a touchdown.

Moments later, Ragsdale had the ball. It was over the middle and picked off. Glenn took a quick 13-0 lead.

Ragsdale finally got going when quarterback Braylon Louis was forced out of the pocket and took off. He dived for a Ragsdale touchdown.
