High Point police charges man with 4 counts of sexual battery and two counts of indecent exposure

Over the course of three weeks in June and July, the High Point Police Department responded to four sexual battery calls.

HIGH POINT, N.C. — The High Point Police Department has arrested and charged a man for sexual battery and indecent exposure on Aug. 21. 

Eddie Warren, 33, of High Point, is charged with four counts of sexual battery and two counts of indecent exposure. He is on probation for the same charges in another jurisdiction, according to police.

Over the course of three weeks in June and July, officers responded to four sexual battery calls. 

Victims in each case reported inappropriate touching and had similar descriptions for the suspect and suspect vehicles. According to the High Point Police Department, three of the calls came from a Walmart Supercenter at 2628 South Main St. in High Point. 

In some cases, the High Point Police Department reported the man exposed himself multiple times and touching women. 

The High Point Police Department’s Special Victims Unit responded and assisted with the investigation.
