Christopher Andrew Lee fled Tennessee, a violation of his probation.
RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — A man who violated his parole by fleeing the state of Tennessee back in 2018 was finally arrested after being tracked down in Randolph County on Thursday, according to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office said it received a request from the Tennessee Department of Correction Office of Investigation and Conduct Apprehension and Enforcement Unit for help locating Christopher Andrew Lee, 33, of Tennessee.
An arrest warrant was issued for Lee back in July 2018 after violating his probation by leaving Tennessee. He was originally sentenced to six years on probation.
Lee was apprehended on Thursday at a residence on Huntingwood Road in Ramseur. He was taken to the Randolph County Detention Center and issued a $200,000 secured bond. His first court appearance was Friday.
