Expect warm up in Piedmont Triad over weekend

(WGHP) — Hurricane Milton is gone. Now, the southeast will enjoy a long stretch of quiet weather.

We’ll see a very cool start to our Friday with morning temperatures in the lower 40s. Friday afternoon will be sunny with highs in the upper 60s.

Saturday will be warmer. Under sunny skies, morning temperatures will be in the low to middle 40s and highs in the middle 70s.

The warm-up continues into Sunday with lows around 50 degrees and highs near 80 degrees.

A strong but dry cold front will move through on Monday. Look for sunny to partly cloudy skies with lows in the upper 50s and highs in the lower 70s.

It will be partly cloudy and cooler on Tuesday with lows in the middle 40s and highs in the lower 60s.

Grab your coats on Wednesday morning because our temperatures will be in the upper 30s. It will be a mostly sunny afternoon with highs in the lower 60s.

We’ll see another cool day on Thursday. Our skies will be mostly sunny with lows around 40 degrees and highs in the lower 60s.
