(WGHP) — Our up-and-down temperature forecast continues.
Scattered showers are in the forecast for Thursday. Chance of rain 40%. Our day will start with temperatures in the upper 30s. A warm front will move across the Piedmont, pushing our highs close to 60 degrees. If we get enough breaks in the overcast, combined with a strong southerly flow, our highs could climb into the 60s.
The Piedmont will be back in the warm air on Friday. Look for mostly to partly sunny skies with lows near 50 degrees and highs in the mid to upper 60s.
Clouds and cool air will return on Saturday with highs in the middle 50s. Chance of rain 30%.
Warm air returns on Sunday. Under partly to mostly sunny skies, our highs will be in the upper 60s. Chance of rain 20%.
Cooler temperatures will take hold Monday through Wednesday. Skies will be cloudy during this time with good chances of rain. Highs on Monday will be in the middle 40s. On Tuesday and Wednesday, highs will be in the lower 40s.
