Tamyiah Anderson’s bond was lowered from $1 million to $700,000.
ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — A woman accused of running over four people, killing one of them, appeared in court on Monday, August 5.
Tamyiah Anderson’s bond was lowered from $1 million to $700,000.
The 21-year-old is charged with second-degree murder and facing several other charges in a deadly crash that happened at a mobile home park in June. Four people were hit and one of them died. Deputies said the crash stemmed from a couple of fights, one happening after the other.
During court on Monday, the defense argued that Anderson accidentally found herself in the middle of a tragedy while trying to help a friend.
The prosecution argued that Anderson was drunk during the whole event, thus further endangering the people around her.
