1 person hurt after shooting in Uptown Charlotte, Medic confirms

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was seriously hurt after a shooting in Uptown Charlotte on Monday night.

It happened on North College Street near the intersection with East Eighth Street.

That’s just down the road from First Ward Park, and about a half mile away from the Spectrum Center. 

Medic said one person was taken to an area hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries.

No further details about the shooting have been made public at this time.
