Video shows May shooting aboard CATS train

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A new video from a May shooting aboard a Charlotte Area Transit System light rail train shows innocent bystanders ducking for cover.

Shortly after 11 p.m. on May 17, multiple shots were fired during a fight aboard a Blue Line train, the CATS security video shows. The shooting left one person in the hospital.

The apparent shooter ran from the train when the vehicle opened its doors at a station platform.

None of the other bystanders on the train appear to have been physically injured.
