GASTONIA, N.C. — Police in Gaston County are asking the public’s help in looking for a stolen dog, and the people accused of taking the dog.
It happened on July 8. The Gaston County Police Department said around 12:15 p.m., a person was driving down Birchfield Lane in Gastonia when they stopped, allowing the person in the front passenger’s seat to open their door and call for the dog.
Police shared a video of the incident on Facebook, provided by a neighbor.
At this time, police don’t have any information on the suspects other than they appeared to be in a gray Honda Accord.
The resident told police the dog is a black and white pit bull mix, and is one year old.
