UNC-Chapel Hill bell tower vandalized with graffiti, police say

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — UNC-Chapel Hill police are investigating graffiti that was painted on the Morehead-Patterson Bell Tower, according to CBS affiliate WNCN.

The vandalism was reported on Saturday, Aug. 24, according to WNCN.

The graffiti includes the words “VIVA PALESTINE” and “STONE.”

WNCN reports graffiti was reported at a post office in Chapel Hill.

UNC police did not confirm if the two incidents are related.
