Two Reidsville men charged for child pornography possession

The Reidsville Police Department made the discovery after searching their property based off a cyber tip.

REIDSVILLE, N.C. — The Reidsville Police Department arrested two men in connection to a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on Friday.

The tip suggested that Steven James Dickerson, 53, and Joshua Flynn, 50, were under possession of child pornography at an apartment on Scales Street.

After issuing a search warrant for the apartment, Reidsville police also found and seized methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia from the home.

As a result, Dickerson was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of child pornography
  • Possession of methamphetamines
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

Flynn was arrested and charged with:

  • Trafficking methamphetamines
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Failing to register as a sex offender in Rockingham County

Both suspects were taken to Rockingham County Jail where they await trial on Aug. 27. They’re held under a $350,000 secured bond.
