CLEVELAND — The G.O.A.T hung up his cleats in 2023.
For 2024, Tom Brady signed a deal to become a broadcaster for FOX Sports alongside Kevin Burkhardt. The lead booth for FOX was assigned the Cowboys-Browns game in Week 1.
Brady talked about the numerous practice runs he’d put in behind the scenes while on the FOX pregame show early Sunday morning. But when it was “go time” for the Cowboys-Browns broadcast, many knee-jerk reactions online were mixed.
“Tom Brady” quickly became a top trend on X, with people giving their two cents about how the best quarterback in league history was doing in the booth. Some were excited to hear from the G.O.A.T, while others were disappointed he had replaced Greg Olsen in that spot.
Tom Brady can’t seem to form any sentences that have any sort of normal cadence to them

Maybe someone should have listened to Tom Brady actually say words before dropping $300 million on him.

The value was in him being named Tom Brady.
There was a zero percent chance he was going to be better than Greg Olsen at this right out of the gate.
That’s not why he’s getting the bag. https://t.co/APSB0UEdjF

Tom Brady breaking down Micah Parsons’ sack: “This guy deals with more double teams than anyone. He’s just too athletic. This is what you deal with when you’re a great rusher … ‘You get two on you, you know what, put two on me, it doesn’t matter.’” pic.twitter.com/hcEsA4vj8g
