This NC city ranks No. 1 for fall foliage

The Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina aren’t always that way. In the fall, the forests and mountain peaks light up with a kaleidoscope of autumn colors. 

The ranking is based on duration of color, nearby scenic hikes and other factors.
