(WGHP) — Our brief period of warm temperatures are going away.
Thursday, partly sunny with lows in the lower 40s and highs in the lower 50s.
A fast-moving weather maker could bring the mountains a mix of rain and snow on Friday. In the Piedmont, we could see a few showers with lows in the upper 30s and highs around 50 degrees. Chance of rain 30%.
Temperatures will continue to drop as we move into Saturday. Under partly sunny skies, lows will be in the lower 30s and highs in the lower 40s.
Sunny but cold on Sunday with lows in the lower 20s and highs in the upper 30s.
Sunny and still cold on Monday with lows in the upper teens and highs in the upper 30s.
Christmas Eve Tuesday, partly sunny with lows in the upper teens to lower 20s. Our afternoon highs will be in the middle 40s.
