WILMINGTON — Shake it off as the new school year kicks off at Cape Fear Community College.
The college’s Wilson Center is welcoming everyone to celebrate the 2024-2025 fall semester with a Taylor Swift tribute band, Let’s Sing Taylor, on Aug. 29, 7 p.m.
The four-member band, featuring a lead singer embarking on costume changes through each Taylor Swift set, covers hits from the country-pop star’s entire discography.
“Let the games begin: Calling all Swifties to sing your hearts out and sport your Taylor-inspired attire,” the band encourages.
Tickets are priced between $15 and $35, available for purchase starting at 10 a.m. on Aug. 23, both online and in-person at the Wilson Center. For phone purchases, call 910-362-7999 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., or from Aug. 26 through 29 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
