PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Waking up to a few showers in southern portions of the Piedmont Triad- Montgomery and Randolph counties. The rain will taper off as we approach sunrise. Temperatures are in the upper 60s out the door with a few in the low 70s.
Mostly sunny skies this afternoon with highs in the mid-80s. Today looks to be the warmest day of the week.
We’ll wake up in the mid-60s Tuesday morning with highs in the low 80s. A mix of sun and clouds with isolated showers and storms is possible throughout the day. The chance for rain is 30%.
Mostly sunny skies on Wednesday with temperatures in the mid-60s in the morning and highs in the low 80s. A stray shower can’t be ruled out but most look to remain dry mid-week with just a 20% chance for rain.
Partly cloudy on Thursday with morning temperatures in the mid-60s and highs in the low 80s. After a mainly northeast wind for the first half of the week, southeast winds return on Thursday at 5 to 10 mph.
Rain chances return Friday and into the weekend with a 30% chance for isolated showers/storms. Skies will be partly cloudy all weekend long with both morning and afternoon temperatures gradually increasing day by day.
Upper 60s Friday and Saturday morning with highs in the low to mid-80s. By Sunday, morning temperatures will be in the low 70s with highs in the mid-80s.
