(WGHP) — We’ll see mostly sunny skies this evening with a 10% chance for a pop-up shower or storm. Temperatures fall into the mid-80s by 8 p.m.
Overnight, skies will remain mostly clear with temperatures falling into the 70s.
We’ll wake up to mostly sunny skies on Thursday with a low of around 73 degrees. Temperatures will reach the upper 80s by lunchtime with highs in the low 90s. We’ll see partly cloudy skies on Thursday with isolated showers and storms by the afternoon hours. The chance for rain is 30%.Â
Isolated storms remain possible again Friday with a 40% chance for showers/storms. Temperatures will be in the mid-70s in the morning with highs in the mid-90s. The humidity will have it feeling like the upper 90s or even the triple digits in some areas.Â
Our rain chance increases into Saturday with a 60% chance for scattered showers/storms. Temperatures will be in the mid-70s in the morning with highs reaching the low 90s. The shower/storm chance remains into the early overnight hours Saturday.
Isolated showers/storms remain possible on Sunday with a 40% chance for rain. We’ll see partly cloudy skies with morning temperatures in the low 70s and highs in the upper 80s.Â
Mostly sunny skies return Monday and Tuesday with temperatures in the low 70s in the morning with highs in the low 90s. The chance of rain on both days is 20% or less. We’ll see partly cloudy skies Wednesday with temperatures remaining in the low 70s in the morning and highs in the low 90s.Â
We’re also keeping a close eye on the tropics with an area of interest near the Lesser Antilles. The cluster of thunderstorms is still unorganized but is being watched for possible development over the next week. The tropical disturbance is forecast to move into a favorable area for development near the southeastern United States. For now, the Greater Antilles, Bahamas, Florida and the southeastern coast of the US should continue paying attention to the latest updates with this system.Â
