PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — A cold front that came through yesterday has cleared the clouds for the most part.
There is still a very slight chance for an isolated shower or storm in the southern counties of the FOX8 viewing area around midnight tonight, but otherwise, we should be dry for Sunday and Monday.
That front that came through earlier has stalled out to our southwest and is expected to move back north as a warm front next week. That could bring some rain for Tuesday and Tuesday evening.
Today should be the warmest day we will see this week. Highs will be falling to near 80 for the rest of the week and some areas could even see highs in the upper 70s for Thursday and Friday.
The high Sunday will be in the mid-80s, with lower 80s for the rest of the week.
