A warm front moving across the state on Tuesday will bring us a chance for scattered evening showers and thunderstorms. Chance of rain 20%. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s.
Our best chances for rain and thunderstorms will arrive late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning as a cold front moves in. A few storms could be severe with damaging wind gusts and large hail. So, have a way to get warnings while you are sleeping. Chance of rain 60%.
