A few stray showers can’t be ruled out overnight tonight, but most also look to stay dry into early Friday morning.

We’ll start Friday in the low to mid 60s, and our afternoon temperatures will warm into the 80s. Isolated to scattered showers and storms will be possible again Friday afternoon, mainly after 2 p.m. The chance for rain/storms is 40%.

A level 1 risk for severe weather is possible on Saturday. This means a few strong to severe storms will be possible by Saturday afternoon so make sure you’re paying close attention to the forecast if you have any outdoors plans during the second half of the day. We’ll start Saturday in the mid 60s and temperatures will warm into the low 80s by early afternoon. Saturday’s storms will be due to a cold front getting closer to the Piedmont Triad. Damaging winds and some hail will be possible with any of the stronger storms that are able to form.

Mostly cloudy skies and scattered storms remain possible on Sunday. Temperatures will start in the low 60s Sunday morning and afternoon highs will reach the mid 70s. The chance for rain/storms Sunday is 50%.

Lingering showers will be possible again Monday with morning lows in the mid 50s and highs reaching the mid 70s. Skies will be partly cloudy but isolated to scattered showers remain in the forecast with a 40% chance for rain.
