PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Grab the umbrella as you’re heading out the door this morning, scattered showers will be possible off and on throughout the morning and early afternoon.
We’ll see some peaks of sunshine through the clouds with temperatures in the mid-60s this morning and highs in the low-80s.
Mostly sunny skies and dry conditions return on Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures in the mid-60s in the morning and highs in the mid-80s. Winds will switch from a light northeast wind on Wednesday to a light southeast wind on Thursday which will help bring moisture back into the area.
Partly cloudy skies return Friday with morning temperatures in the upper 60s and highs in the mid-80s. Isolated showers and storms also return on Friday with a 30% chance for rain.
Throughout the weekend, temperatures remain in the upper-60s in the low-70s in the morning with afternoon highs reaching the mid-80s.
We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds on Saturday with mostly sunny skies returning on Sunday. Isolated showers and storms will be possible on Saturday with lingering stray showers possible on Sunday. The chance of rain goes from 30% on Saturday to 20% on Sunday.
Mostly sunny skies on Monday with morning temperatures in the upper 60s and highs in the mid-80s. A stray shower can’t be ruled out but the chance for rain is only 20%.
Over the next week, rainfall totals look to remain below 1 inch.
