WILMINGTON — The developers of Riverlights, a 1,400-acre community located along the Cape Fear River, will be hosting a groundbreaking before beginning construction on its new amenity center, Riverhouse. The groundbreaking will take place on March 19 at 1 p.m. at 5400 Moonshell Loop.Â
Riverhouse will offer four pickleball courts, a swimming pool and a clubhouse to residents and is planned to be completed this year. Riverhouse will be the second clubhouse and recreation amenity provided to residents in addition to The Lakehouse, completed in 2016.Â
The Riverlights community is projected to be completed in 2026, which will include more than 3,000 homes along with commercial space, public parks, recreation areas and more.
