Deputies said they responded to a fire on the 190 block of Trantham Road.
REIDSVILLE, N.C. — A man is facing an arson charge after a fire in Reidsville, according to deputies.
The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to a fire on the 190 block of Trantham Road following a report of a disturbance at the same home on August 23 around 8 p.m.
Along with the Rockingham County Fire Marshal’s Office and Safe Labs Forensic Laboratory Services, Rockingham County Sheriff’s Investigators determined the fire was arson.
Deputies arrested Jonas Allen Strictland, 42, of Reidsville.
He is charged with Second Degree Arson.
Strictland was placed in the Rockingham County Detention Facility under no bond.
