Police looking for suspect on Tate St. in Greensboro

Greensboro police are on the scene of Tate Street.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are on the scene of Tate Street and Oakland Ave. Saturday.

Police said a weapons violation call came in around 8:50 a.m.

Officers said a man took out a weapon in the area, and took off when he saw police.

Police found the suspect’s weapon in the woods, but are still looking for the suspect.

Officers said the suspect was wearing a gray jogging suit.
