CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A car appears to have crashed into a pole in south Charlotte. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officials are investigating.
The crash is impacting traffic near the intersection of South Tryon Street and Remount Road, which is located between Interstate 77 and South Blvd. near Charlotte’s South End neighborhood.
Duke Energy has responded to repair a damaged utility pole. Part of the wooden pole appears to be stuck under the damaged vehicle.
CMPD is investigating. No other vehicles appear to have been involved in the crash.
