Police investigating north Charlotte homicide

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person has been killed in north Charlotte and a homicide investigation is underway, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department

It happened in the 4200 block of Trailer Drive on Saturday night. When officers arrived at the scene just after 11 p.m., they found a person dead from trauma. 

The investigation into this case is active and ongoing. The police department said it will release more information once it becomes available. 

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 704-432-TIPS and speak directly to a Homicide Unit detective.
