(WGHP) — Winter will make a brief return on Wednesday morning.
The FOX8 viewing area will be under a freeze warning for Wednesday morning. Under a clear sky, our temperatures will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s. During the day, our highs will climb into the upper 50s to lower 60s. Skies will be sunny.
A cold front will bring clouds into the Piedmont on Thursday. Lows on Thursday will be in the lower 40s. By Thursday afternoon and evening, our rain chances will increase. Highs will be in the middle 60s. Rain chances will climb to 50%.
The system will linger across the Piedmont on Friday. Friday will be a rainy day with highs in the low to middle 60s. Chance of rain 70%.
Look for some drier weather on Saturday. Skies will be mostly cloudy with highs around 60 degrees. Chance of rain will be less than 20%.
More sun on Sunday with highs in the middle 60s.
Mostly sunny and warmer on Monday with highs in the upper 70s.
