(WGHP) — Cloudy days are ahead with an increasing chance for rain between tomorrow and Sunday.
We start our partly cloudy tonight and become cloudy by daybreak. Lows around 33. Tomorrow we expect cloudy skies with a few pockets of light rain, sprinkles and drizzle. Highs around 41. Light rain showers tomorrow night with a low of near 40. Saturday will be cloudy with rain showers and highs in the lower 50s. Sunday, rain is likely, our heaviest rain of the period, highs near 64.
Monday we are back to mostly sunny with highs in the lower 60s. Tuesday will become mostly cloudy with a few showers, highs near 60. Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 53. Thursday partly cloudy and 46. Lows will go from the mid 40s on Monday to the lower 30s on Thursday.
Longer range, a turn to colder air is expected Jan 3-7 in my 12 day forecast, highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s and lows in the 20s. Mainly dry during the cold period.
Extreme long range, the weather pattern becomes more interesting the 2nd week of January. Much colder and a little better chance for some moisture. Highs in the 30s and lows in the teens and 20s. Stay tuned.
