CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after being shot in the University City area of north Charlotte, according to Medic.
The shooting happened in a shopping area on West W.T. Harris Boulevard near JW Clay Boulevard, Saturday night.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has not released any information about this shooting as of Sunday morning.Â
