WASHINGTON — An American athlete could become the world’s fastest man on day 9 of the Olympics.Â
The men’s 100m is among the marquee events on Sunday, Aug. 4. Team USA’s Noah Lyles is the reigning world champ of the men’s event.Â
Other key competitions happening on Aug. 4 include the women’s gymnastics uneven bars event, which will include Suni Lee — who earned bronze in the event in Tokyo.
Swimming events come to a close with a series of finals, including the men’s 1500m freestyle.
