NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is on the scene of a major incident on Bourbon Street.Â
At least 10 people are dead after a vehicle plowed into a group of people.

Multiple EMS units are on the scene, according to NOPD.

The 8th District is currently working a mass casualty incident involving a vehicle that drove into a large crowd on Canal and Bourbon Street.
There are 30 injured patients that have been transported by NOEMS and 10 fatalities.Â
