Man charged with murder for deadly Winston-Salem park shooting, police say

Police say it happened around 8:05 p.m. on Oct. 19 at Granville Park in Winston-Salem.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Winston-Salem police have arrested and charged a man with first-degree murder for a homicide that happened in October. 

Officers arrested Tony Toribioestrada and he was taken to Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center on a felony Robbery charge with the case. 

Officers said a man was found dead at Granville Park in Winston-Salem on Oct. 19. When officers got there, they found 19-year-old, Reaylie Noyola in the park suffering from gunshot wounds. 

This investigation is ongoing.
