PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Today and tonight will be the coldest of this latest shot of Canadian air. Tonight’s low is expected to be in the teens with a low near 19 at PTI.
We should see some gradually warming temperatures with Monday’s high near 40, and highs near 50 the rest of the week.
Overnight lows will also moderate into the 20s and then the 30s as we move through Christmas Day.
There is a very slight chance for some precipitation early Tuesday morning, but this will be more likely down east.
Another shot of arctic air is possible to welcome in the new year.
