GREENSBORO, N.C. — Vice President Kamala Harris will make a campaign stop in North Carolina on Thursday with less than eight weeks remaining until election day, according to a campaign official.
The stop is one of several Harris and her running mate Tim Walz are expected to make across numerous battleground states leading up to Nov. 5. Harris was last in North Carolina on Aug. 16 when she made an appearance in Raleigh.
Harris’ husband, Douglas Emhoff, is expected to be in Raleigh on Monday along with Gwen Walz, the First Lady of Minnesota. The pair are planning to speak on reproductive rights.
Harris is scheduled to debate presidential candidate Donald Trump on ABC News on Tuesday night at 9 p.m.
