A cold front will drop southward through the Piedmont today, starting a new trend that will extend into the weekend.Â
Drier air is going to gradually build in from the north, so any showers will be confined to the southern Piedmont for the most part. The chance of rain is 40% and highs are going to modestly rise to around 82°.
Over the weekend, we’ll have dry, warm conditions for anything that needs to be done outdoors.Â
Rain chances stay well below 20% on both days, and we’ll have partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies. Highs on Saturday will rise to the mid-80s, and Sunday’s highs will be in the upper-80s.
As the new work week begins, grab your umbrella! We’re expecting showers and thunderstorms Monday through Thursday.Â
The chance of rain will be highest on Monday, at 70%, then drop to 60% and 50% on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.Â
By Thursday, we’ll have partly sunny skies with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Temperature-wise, Monday will also be a little cooler with highs near 83°, then highs quickly warm to the upper-80s on Tuesday and Wednesday.Â
By Thursday, highs will be back in the lower-90s!
