WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) – Vice President Kamala Harris has made her decision for a presidential running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

The Democratic presidential nominee introduced her pick to voters in Pennsylvania Tuesday night.

Vice President Harris and her running mate Tim Walz are now headed on a battleground state tour to try to sell their message to the country, but former president Trump and his running mate wasted no time attacking this new ticket.

Vice President Harris hit the stage in Philadelphia with Governor Walz, officially introducing him as her running mate.

“We are the underdogs in this race, but we have the momentum and I know exactly what we are up against,” said Harris.

Harris says it was the two-term governor’s experience that helped her decision.

“Over those next 91 days. And every day in the White House. I’ll have Vice President Harris back,” said Walz.

Former president Trump calls the Harris-Walz ticket the most radical duo in U.S. history.

“Tim Walz, his record is a joke,” said Ohio Senator JD Vance.

Trump’s running mate also rallied in Philadelphia Tuesday.

“Been one of the most far-left radicals in the entire United States,” said Vance.

While Walz said he’s looking forward to facing off with Vance.

“I can’t wait to debate the guy,” said Walz.

Harris and Walz travel to Wisconsin and Michigan for campaign events Wednesday.
