GREENSBORO, N.C. — A 45-year-old woman found dead early Sunday morning in Greensboro was the victim of a homicide, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
According to the GPD, their officers responded to a cardiac/respiratory arrest call at 2347 Randleman Road along with Greensboro Fire and Greensboro Emergency Medical Services. When they arrived, they found Brandy Elaine Wright unresponsive in the parking lot.
Police say Wright suffered “trauma consistent with having been assaulted and stabbed.” She was declared dead at the scene.
This is Greensboro’s 29th recorded homicide of 2024, according to the department.
