WILMINGTON — As the big day arrives and last-minute gifts are needed, shoppers in downtown Wilmington will receive free parking.

The City of Wilmington’s on-street metered parking will be free from Tuesday, Dec. 24, through Thursday, Dec. 26.
The city offices also will be closed for the holiday Dec. 24-26 as well.
