Flagger company cited by state after deadly flag crew crash in Greensboro

Two flaggers were working to close a lane when a driver hit and killed them back in January 2024.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The North Carolina Department of Labor cited a flagger company after a deadly crash in Greensboro back in January 2024.

The state confirmed to WFMY News 2 that it cited Flagger Force.

You may remember last year when one of their workers died in a collision on Murrow Boulevard in Greensboro.

Two flaggers were working to close a lane when a driver hit and killed them. The driver turned herself in February 2024.

The state wouldn’t share specifics about the citation.
