PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — The weekend will be warm with a small chance for a thunderstorm.
Saturday will be warm and a little muggy with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s. A stalled front could bring us a tiny chance for an isolated evening thunderstorm.
On Sunday, the front will continue to hang out along the North Carolina/South Carolina border. In the Piedmont, look for partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies with highs in the middle 80s. Sunday will also carry a small chance for an isolated thunderstorm.
A few Piedmont kids are going back to school on Monday. Look for partly cloudy skies with highs in the lower 80s.
Tuesday will bring the Piedmont a better chance for showers and thunderstorms with highs in the lower 80s. Chance of rain 40%.

Thursday, mostly cloudy with highs in the lower 80s. The chance of rain is 30%.
