Expect sunny skies, more warm weather in Piedmont Triad this week

(WGHP) — Fall-like temperatures will continue.

We’ll see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies on Wednesday with lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s. The normal high for August 21 is 86 degrees, so Wednesday will be cool by late August standards.

We’ll see another below-normal day on Thursday with lows in the mid to upper 50s and highs in the upper 70s. Look for mostly sunny skies on Thursday.

It will be mostly sunny and a touch warmer on Friday. Our numbers will remain below average with lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s and highs in the lower 80s.

Temperatures will continue to slowly climb on Saturday. Under mostly sunny skies, lows will be around 60 degrees and highs will be in the lower 80s.

Sunday will be mostly sunny and a little warmer with lows in the lower 60s and highs in the middle 80s.

It will be a littler warmer and perhaps a little muggy on Monday with highs in the upper 80s. Our skies will remain mostly sunny.

Heat and humidity will continue to rise on Tuesday with lows in the upper 60s and highs around 90 degrees.
