(WGHP) — Our high temperatures will slowly rise this week.
Sunny and mild on Tuesday with lows in the low to middle 50s and highs in the middle 80s.
Mostly sunny on Wednesday with lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s and highs in the middle 80s.
Thursday will be a little a muggy with lows in the lower 60s and highs in the middle 80s.
There will be a muggy feel to the air on Friday with lows in the middle 60s and highs in the upper 80s. With additional humidity in the air, there’s a chance we could pop an isolated evening thunderstorm. Chance of rain 30%
An approaching cold front on Saturday could bring us a better chance for scattered thunderstorms. Morning lows will be around 70 degrees with highs in the upper 80s. Chance of rain 40%.
On Sunday, the cold front will be in the region. This will keep scattered showers and thunderstorms in the forecast with highs in the forecast. Highs will be in the middle 80s. Chance of rain 40%.
The front could stall across the Piedmont on Monday. You will still need your umbrella on Monday with scattered thunderstorms remaining in the forecast. Highs will be in the low to middle 80s. Chance of rain 50%.
