Expect rainy Friday in Piedmont Triad

(WGHP) — Welcomed rainfall will move across the Piedmont on Friday.

A cold front will bring us cloudy skies on Friday morning with lows in the middle 40s. As the front moves across the region, rain chances will increase. Umbrellas will be needed on Friday afternoon and evening with highs in the middle 60s. Chance of rain 80%. Rain totals will be between a quarter to half inch. Wind gusts of 30 mph are possible

Behind the cold front, Saturday will be a nice day. Mostly to partly sunny skies with lows in the low to middle 40s and highs around 60 degrees.

Sunday, partly sunny with lows in the upper 30s and highs in the lower 50s. The weather looks great for The Clash at Bowman Gray. In Winston-Salem on Sunday night, look for scattered clouds with temperatures falling into the upper 40s.

Partly to mostly sunny skies on Monday with lows around 40 degrees and highs in the middle 60s.

Tuesday, mostly sunny with highs in the middle 60s.

Partly sunny on Wednesday with highs in the lower 60s. Chance of rain 20%.

Warm, with a mix of sun and clouds on Thursday. Morning temperatures will be around 50 degrees with afternoon highs near 70 degrees. Chance of rain 30%.
